"You didn’t come here to be sweet. You came here to burn things down and rise from the ashes—twice."
~Darklady
If I had a bat-wing for every baby witch who whispered “sorry” after showing their spell jar, their altar, or their moon water—I could fly around the astral plane without my broom.
Let me say this loud enough for the spirits in the back:
Stop apologizing for your power.
You are a walking portal. A spell in motion.
A direct line to ancestors who hexed empires and laughed while doing it.
You don’t need to explain your path.
You don’t need to dull your rage, your intuition, or your obsession with black salt and ancient bones just because Karen from yoga thinks “witchcraft is negative.”
Karen can stick to goat milk lattes and coloring books. You’ve got veils to pierce and spirits to conjure.
I know it can be scary—especially in a world that praises “positive vibes only” and treats powerful women like unstable thunderstorms. But that’s the point.
You’re supposed to be the storm.
So if you're just starting out and feel like you're doing it all “wrong”?Good. That means you’re doing it your way.
Light the candle. Spill the ink. Stir the herbs like your life depends on it—because sometimes, it does.
Witchcraft isn’t about being perfect.
It’s about being intentional.
It’s about reclaiming your voice, rewriting your story, and making damn sure the world hears your spell when it cracks the air.
Step 1.
Stop apologizing.
Step 2.
Start casting like your bloodline is watching—because they are.

YES, Thank you. I am tired of toning myself down so others feel comfortable. I shouldn't have to apologize for having a Masters, being literate, being able to take over a situation and ACTUALLY fix it. I sure as hell won't be apologizing for the amazing power handed to me from my ancestors. The power I have gained from past lives. Or, the fact that even though I can do gentle healing, I LOVE my dark work. Never apologize or change yourself because others can't handle the real you.
Absolutely!! I have felt like I did something wrong occasionally when something breaks (like the glass I set the candles on to burn) but the way that’s a whole mess to clean up haha. Then I remember that has nothing to do with anything it’s purely my intention that I put into it. Although I am definitely one of those impatient people and want to see results quickly.
I love this! Yes, i did feel like was doing things wrong or worried I may screw something up. Sometimes I may not have all the ingredients. But today has been amazing. I’m feeling electrically charged and my aura is a bluish black, sometimes purple.
You’re amazing. 🤗🤗
Thank you I needed this reminder because in my world they tell me everything is my fault and my responsibility to fix it for the whole family then go back to the trash
