People Fear The Dark!

The world teaches people to fear the dark.

But dark witches know something different.

We know the shadows are not always evil.

Sometimes they are simply the places where truth lives after illusion burns away.

The dark is where masks fall off.

Where pretending ends.

Where people finally meet themselves without all the performance and noise.

And honestly?

Most people cannot handle silence long enough to hear their own spirit speak.

That is why dark witches withdraw sometimes.

Not because we are weak…

but because we see too much.

We feel the shift in rooms.

The heaviness in voices.

The hidden intentions behind smiles.

The energy people try desperately to hide.

So we create sacred spaces away from the chaos: candles glowing in quiet rooms, herbs drying from old wood, storms against the windows, our familiars nearby, and the shadows wrapping around us like old velvet.

That is not darkness to me.

That is peace.
