A Valentine Spell for Love, Lust, or At Least Decent Texting

Best cast on Valentine’s night, or whenever you’re bored and emotionally unimpressed.

You will need:

One black candle because obviously

One pink or red candle if you’re feeling sentimental. Optional.

A small piece of paper

A pen that has seen things

A pinch of any herb you already own. We’re not being precious.

Wine, tea, or whatever you drink when people annoy you

The Spell:

Light the black candle first. This is not a love spell, it’s a standards spell.

Light the other candle if you want affection, attention, or someone to stop acting like a haunted sock.

On the paper, write what you want. Be specific, but realistic.

Examples:

“Someone who texts back.”

“Someone who isn’t intimidated by my power.”

“Peace, quiet, and snacks.”

Sprinkle the herb over the paper and say:

“By shadow, herb, and Valentine spite,

Bring me desire done correctly tonight.

No games, no ghosts, no half-assed flame,

If they show up, let them know my name.”

Fold the paper once. Do not obsess over it.

Burn it safely in the candle flame or set it aside if you’re feeling dramatic but cautious.

Drink your beverage.

Blow out the candles and mutter:

“If it’s meant, it’ll find me.

If not, I’m still fabulous.”

Spell Notes:

This works best when paired with self-respect and low tolerance for nonsense.

Side effects may include confidence, clarity, and deleting contacts.
