The Shadow Page: What Every Dark Witch Should Record in Her Dark Grimoire

This is not a spell.

This is something older.

Most grimoires are filled with rituals, chants, correspondences, and other things copied from someone else’s book.

That kind of grimoire looks impressive on a shelf but does nothing when the witch is tired, blocked, or doubting herself.

A dark grimoire is not meant to be decorative.

It is meant to remember you.

This is a teaching page every dark witch should keep, update, and return to. It does not require tools, ingredients, circles, or performance. It requires honesty.

The Shadow Page

This page is written only after workings, emotional shifts, or moments of internal resistance. It records what power actually felt like instead of what you hoped it would feel like.

Title the page simply:

THE SHADOW PAGE

Date it. Do not embellish it.

Then write the following. Every time. In plain words. No poetry unless it spills out on its own.

1. What I actually felt.

Not what you expected. Not what you wanted to feel.

Fear. Boredom. Irritation. Hunger. Confidence. Nothing at all.

Write the truth, even if the truth is “I felt stupid” or “I felt powerful and didn’t like that.”

2. Where I resisted.

The moment you hesitated, doubted, rushed, avoided, or checked out.

Power leaves tracks. Resistance leaves fingerprints. This is where you find them.

3. What shifted after.

Hours later. Days later. Sometimes immediately.

Changes in mood, dreams, reactions, clarity, anger, calm, focus.

If nothing shifted, write that too. Silence is still data.

4. What this teaches me about my shadow.

Not a moral lesson. Not growth fluff.

A pattern. A truth. A warning. A strength you keep forgetting you have.

5. One sentence I will not argue with.

A line that ends the page.

Something blunt. Something final.

“I don’t lose power when I pause.”

“I avoid this work when it’s actually working.”

Then stop.

Do not fix it.

Do not soften it.

Do not reread it for at least a day.

Why This Page Matters

Spells fade.

Tools break.

Books lie.

This page does not.

Over time, your Shadow Page becomes a record of how your power moves, retreats, sharpens, and returns. It shows you patterns no teacher can give you and no scammer wants you to see.

Because witches who understand their own shadow

do not panic,

do not chase,

and do not hand their power to anyone promising shortcuts.

This page does not make you mystical.

It makes you dangerous in the quiet way.

That is the kind of grimoire worth keeping.
