Wormwood: The Bitter Queen of Baneful Magick

Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) is one of the most powerful and feared herbs in the witch’s arsenal. Known for its intense bitterness and strong association with the planet Saturn, this herb has been used for centuries in baneful magick, uncrossing, and spirit work.

In baneful practice, Wormwood is unmatched when you need to:

How to Use Wormwood in Baneful Magick

1. Bitter Return Spell

Burn dried Wormwood with a black candle while visualizing the harm sent to you returning to its source. As the smoke rises, speak:

"What you sent to me, now taste your own bitter seed. Wormwood bite, return their spite, so it is."

2. Separation & Bitterness Bottle

Fill a small jar with:

Dried Wormwood

Black salt

Pins or thorns

A taglock (photo, name paper, hair, etc.) of your target

Pour vinegar or urine over it while stating your intention. Seal it tightly and bury it or keep it hidden. Shake occasionally while feeding your anger into it.

3. Bitter Bath for Protection & Revenge

Steep Wormwood, rue, and nettles in hot water. Strain and add to a bath with black candles. As you soak, command the energy that was sent against you to dissolve and return to sender.
