Why I Never Trust a Smiling Witch (And Neither Should You)
by darkwitchery.com
"Oh, she looks so sweet. So friendly. That smile lights up the room."
Darling — RUN.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned in all my years walking the shadowed path, it’s this:
The most dangerous witches wear the biggest smiles.
And here’s why:
1. They Know Something You Don’t
That big grin? It’s not joy. It’s knowledge.
It’s the knowledge that they’ve just sealed the final knot on a curse while you were still babbling about your aura cleanse.
Beware the smiling witch — she knows more than she’s saying.
2. They Are Already 10 Steps Ahead
While you’re fretting over moon phases, she’s already hexed your coffee supply and sent a glamour spell through your social feed.
Smiling witches are never reacting — they are orchestrating.
Smile = checkmate.
3. They’ve Made Peace With Their Darkness
A truly dangerous witch smiles because she’s made peace with her shadow side.
She doesn’t wrestle with guilt, question her craft, or hesitate when the time comes to act.
She smiles because she already knows:
Some things need to be burned to the ground.
4. You’ll Never See It Coming
The grumpy old crone? You’ll expect trouble.
The brooding goth witch? Also obvious.
But the sweet, smiling one who bakes you cookies?
Darling — she’s already stirred powdered yew into the batter.
(Just kidding… probably.)
Final Word:
The next time you see a witch grinning from ear to ear at your next gathering, remember this blog.
Smile back — but keep one eye on her hands.
Trust the ones who glare, who growl, who wear their darkness on their sleeve.
But the sweet-smiling witches?
Never trust them. They are the most wicked of all.
See you in the shadows.
☺️☺️
I found the greatest (darkest) joy is when others don't know your the smiling witch. 😈
I know not to trust her, I know it doesn’t take much to send her screaming to her alter to put me in a jar. She’s still my friend. As nice as she seems, she will still hex me over any minor inconvenience. I just send something back and know she’ll text me when she’s done hexing me.
Guess I need to learn to smile more. Because when I smile everyone already asks what am I up to and who pissed me off beyond belief.
I’ve been told my smile is creepy. That made me feel good…Now I’m even more creepy 👍 Thank you darkwitchery and Your Wickedness!
I learned that from another witch as well many years ago. She always said that if you made someone angry, you would see their true colors -
