This is a sipping tonic, made with herbs and kitchen-ingredients

Tonic of the Veil

By Darklady

"Brewed not to heal—but to reveal. Drink before scrying, mirror gazing, or when the veil feels near but silent."

~Darklady

Ingredients:

  • Chamomile – opens the inner senses gently

  • Lemon balm – calms the body while the spirit rises

  • Cinnamon stick – awakens the third eye with warmth

  • Vanilla extract – softens the brew and deepens psychic receptivity

  • A single clove – sharpens intuition (optional)

  • Pinch of peppermint – to clear mental fog

  • Dark honey – to bind the senses to sweetness as the shadow speaks

How to Brew:

  1. Bring water to a low boil.

  2. Add:

    • 1 tsp dried chamomile

    • 1 tsp lemon balm

    • 1 small cinnamon stick

    • 1 clove (optional for those who want added edge)

  3. Let steep for 5–7 minutes in dim light.

  4. Add 1 drop of vanilla extract and a small spoon of honey.

  5. Stir counterclockwise. Whisper into the steam:

“Open the path. Still the flesh. Let what hides reveal itself.”

How to Use:

  • Sip slowly before a vision session, mirror work, dark journaling, or ritual sleep.

  • Best under a dark or crescent moon, when the world is quieter and the spirits lean close.

Important Notes:

  • Every ingredient is safe for ingestion.

  • Always make fresh—never store this tonic overnight. It loses its voice when it sits too long.

  • Never serve to others without stating clearly what it is used for—this is not tea. It’s a tool of shadow work.
