The Dark Witch Does Not Forgive On Command.

The Dark Witch Does Not Forgive on Command
There is a lie people love to hand to the wounded.
They tell you that you must forgive before you can heal.
They say holding anger will poison you.
They tell you to release it, rise above it, send love, and move on.
Usually, the people saying this were not the ones who bled.
Fuck that.
A dark witch does not forgive on command.
Forgiveness is not a debt you owe the person who hurt you.
It is not the admission price for peace, and it is not proof that you are spiritually evolved.
Sometimes forgiveness is beautiful.
Sometimes it is another word used to silence the victim before the guilty person has faced a single consequence.
Your Anger Is Not the Enemy
Anger is often the first part of you strong enough to say, That should never have happened to me.
It is the guard that finally wakes up after years of being told to stay quiet.
It shows you where a boundary was broken, where trust was abused, and where someone mistook your kindness for permission.
That does not mean anger should rule your entire life.
Anything can become a cage if you live inside it too long.
But there is a difference between releasing anger when you are ready and having forgiveness forced down your throat because your truth makes someone uncomfortable.
Dark Witchery does not demand that you make your pain pretty.
We look at it.
We name it.
We decide what it becomes.
Healing Without Forgiveness
You can heal without inviting anyone back.
You can stop thinking about them every day and still believe they deserve consequences.
You can build a beautiful life and never rewrite what happened into some sugary lesson about gratitude.
You can close the door without blessing the person standing on the other side of it.
That is not bitterness.
That is a boundary with teeth.
The dark witch understands that peace does not always come from pardon.
Sometimes peace comes from distance.
Sometimes it comes from finally telling the truth.
Sometimes it comes from refusing to carry the shame that belonged to the person who harmed you.
A Declaration of Release Without Forgiveness
Write the name of the person—or simply the harm—on a small piece of paper.
Hold it in your hand and say:
I do not forgive because I was ordered to.
I do not forget to make you comfortable.
I release your access to my mind, my body, and my life.
The consequence is that you no longer have me.
Tear the paper once through the name or word.
Throw it away outside your home.
This is not about pretending the past never happened.
It is about deciding that the person who caused the wound does not get to keep living inside it.
Forgiveness Belongs to You
If forgiveness ever comes, let it come because it serves you—not because a family member, church, therapist, stranger, or smiling little quote told you it was required.
And if it never comes?
You can still heal.
You can still laugh.
You can still love.
You can still become powerful as fuck.
Your healing belongs to you.
So does your anger.
So does your decision about what happens next.
A dark witch does not forgive on command.
She chooses.
