Samhain is over but the day of the dead continues.

The Day After Samhain
The candles still burn low, and the smoke hasn’t cleared from last night’s rites. The world calls it the Day of the Dead—but for some of us, it’s just the continuation of the conversation.
While parades and prayers rise under the sun, I’ll keep the quiet vigil. I’ll whisper the names of my dead, the ones who taught me strength, the ones who walked the darker paths before me. You can dress it in flowers and sugar skulls or in silence and ash—it’s the same bridge between worlds.
Death isn’t an ending; it’s a return of attention. Today I remember, not mourn.
So today,
while the world lights candles for saints, I’ll light mine for the forgotten—the ancestors whose names the wind still knows. Call it Día de Muertos, call it All Souls, call it what you will… the veil’s still thin, and the dead still listen.”
