💀 Q&A With Darklady
“Got questions? I’ve got wicked answers.”
A Shadow Witch’s Inbox, Unfiltered.
Welcome to the part of my witchery where the veil thins, the inbox opens, and the questions start rolling in like graveyard mist.
These aren’t filtered, fluffy answers.
These are raw, real, and laced with sass.
So whether you’re new to the craft, knee-deep in baneful majick, or just wondering if using your ex’s hair in a jar is “too much” — you’ve come to the right place.
Let’s dive into these burning questions from the my coven...
---
Question 1.
🕯️ Q: Is there a spell I can use to get someone off my back before I kick their ass? 🤨
— “Over It ”
Answer:
Yes. And thank the shadows for this question, because if I had a jar for every time someone pushed a witch too far — well, I’d have a whole cursed pantry.
This situation calls for the Back the Hell Off Spell — one of my go-to’s when someone’s energy is clinging like mildew and you’re one broomstick swing away from regrettable headlines.
You’ll need:
A black candle (chime-sized works fine, but taller makes a statement)
A rusty nail or pin (something with age, bite, and bad vibes)
A piece of paper with their full name (use black ink)
A small glass jar with a lid
White vinegar (sour like your mood)
Instructions:
1. Light the black candle. Let the flame remind you of your boundary — alive, firm, untouchable.
2. Write their name and your “nickname” for them underneath. (Be creative. Shadow majick loves salt.)
3. Stab the paper three times with the rusty nail, and say aloud:
“From my space, you now retreat. Your presence unwelcome, your energy obsolete.
Step back.
Stay gone.
Be still and unseen.
I reclaim my shadow. I reign as queen.”
4. Fold the paper away from you, drop it in the jar, and pour vinegar over it.
5. Seal the jar tight. Place it in a dark, undisturbed place — a closet, drawer, or buried beneath a stone if you're feeling ancient.
Let the vinegar do the work while you stay hex-free and fabulous. Every time you pass that jar, smile. The spell is working… and they’re feeling it.

Question 2.
🪦 Q: Hellooo! Hope you're good! Just wanted to ask how do I make graveyard dirt?
— “Dead Curious”
Answer:
Ahhh yes — graveyard dirt. Possibly the most misunderstood and misused ingredient in all of witchcraft. Let’s clear this up, shadow-style.
You do not make graveyard dirt. You gather it. And only with proper respect, ritual, and intent. It’s not just “dirt from a cemetery” — it’s a spiritual tool, heavy with death’s presence and whatever soul rests beneath it.
Here’s the real process, Dark Witchery style:
1. Choose Your Grave Wisely:
For protection spells: seek a soldier, police officer, or someone known as a protector.
For revenge: choose someone who died angry, betrayed, or wronged.
For wisdom: find a teacher, healer, or an old ancestor who worked with herbs or knowledge.
Don’t just wander around grabbing dirt like a tourist. Tune in. Feel the pull.
2. Bring an Offering:
You must give to receive. Bring whiskey, black coffee, coins, tobacco, or herbs. Place it gently on the headstone and speak aloud:
“With reverence I approach. With offering I honor. May your rest remain undisturbed, and your gift guide my work.”
3. Time It Right:
Saturday night. Waning moon. After dusk. Go alone or with one trusted shadow. Silence is your friend.
4. The Gathering:
Use a small spoon or your hand to take dirt from the head or foot of the grave (depending on purpose — head for mind/spirit, foot for action/presence). Only a small amount. Whisper:
“I collect this earth with respect and intention. Your energy lives on in the work I do.”
5. Store It With Intention:
Use a black cloth bag or small sealed jar. Label it with the spirit’s name (if known), date, location, and purpose. Keep it in your spell cabinet or with your bones and ash.
Graveyard dirt isn’t “dark” because it’s spooky — it’s powerful because it’s touched by death and memory. Handle it like the ancient witches did: carefully, wisely, and with a heart full of shadowed respect.

Question 3.
🔮 Q: I used hair in a spell and now I feel like something’s following me. Did I mess up?
— “Nervous in New York”
Answer:
Oh sweet thing, yes… probably. But that doesn’t mean it can’t be fixed.
Hair is potent. It carries DNA, energy threads, ancestral memory, even trauma. If you used someone’s hair in a binding or banishing and didn’t properly ground or close the spell, that “something following you” could be residual tether — a backdraft of energy with nowhere to go.
Fix it fast:
Take a salt bath with rosemary and black tea.
Burn a black candle and say:
“That which lingers is not mine.
Return to source. I cut the line.”
Burn the remaining hair or dispose of it in running water far from your home.
Next time, always seal the spell. And maybe don’t mess with someone whose grandma was also a witch.

Question 4.
🧂 Q: Is it okay to use vinegar in a love spell? Asking for a friend.
— “Totally Not Desperate”
Answer:
Hunny… no.
Unless your “friend” wants to sour the connection like milk in the sun, vinegar is not for love. It’s for banishment, cursing, sour jars, and unbinding toxic ties. It’s the “get away from me” ingredient, not “please hold me forever.”
If you’re trying to sweeten a relationship, try honey, brown sugar, maple, or cinnamon. But vinegar? That’s what I use when someone needs to shut the hell up and leave.
So tell your “friend” to use sugar — and to text you back if they still want to trap the ex in a jar of doom. I’ve got recipes.

Question 5.
👀 Q: I did a mirror spell and now I’m seeing things in my dreams. Is that normal??
— “Too Deep, Too Fast”
Answer:
Welcome to the veil, shadowling.
Yes, that’s normal. Mirrors are gateways. If you use one without protection or clarity of purpose, you’re basically flinging your subconscious through a door with no instructions on how to get back.
Dream visions, phantom reflections, flickering lights — these are all signs the mirror has opened something. You’re receiving messages, echoes, or warnings.
Here’s what to do:
Cover the mirror when not in use with a black cloth.
Cleanse it with smoke (mugwort, myrrh, or clove works well).
Say aloud:
“This portal is mine. Closed when I choose.
No spirit may pass unless I approve.”
Keep it facing away from your bed.
And next time, darling… knock before you enter.

great as always I still have a question I asked a while ago about using the ash of the dead in a spell is it a bad idea or is it useful in certain situations if so when and for what can it be used for and will it make a difference if it's a loved one family member or not
Can I put a dipshits soul in a mirror while they walk the earth. Time for mugwort tea.
I absolutely loved this! Took a few wee notes from other people's questions too. This is awesome and looking forward to the next one 🖤
Great questions. Great answers! I have to be honest, so much has opened up that I want open now!👁️🖤🔥
