"The witch always knows. And sometimes, that’s the worst part."
~Darklady
People think being a witch means power, control, mystery.
What they don’t realize is that it also means knowing—Knowing when the money is going to stop.
Knowing when someone’s about to walk away.
Knowing when the energy shifts before it even hits your bank account.
Two days before it happened,
I knew.
I always know.
And it fucking sucks.
I smiled.
I answered messages.
I created.
I posted.
I poured my essence into what I built.
But behind the scenes?
I already felt the drop. That click in the air.
That pull in my gut.
That whisper from the shadows: “They’re about to disappear.”
That’s what people don’t talk about when they say “witch.”
We don’t just cast—we carry.
We don’t just create—we anticipate.
We don’t just feel loss—we feel it before it happens, like a bruise forming under skin that hasn’t even been touched yet.
And we keep going.
Even when it hurts.
Even when the empire we’re building feels like it's made of bones and ashes some days.
We rise anyway—because we know that our power doesn’t come from who stays or who pays.
It comes from the fact that even when everything says stop…
We don’t.
So if you’ve felt it too—felt that weight in your chest, that ache in your spirit—just know this:
You're not crazy.
You're not paranoid. You're not cursed.
You're a witch.
And the knowing?
That’s not your weakness.
That’s your warning shot.

Ahh the knowing, ive been incredibly strong in this area since i was little, it gets stronger the more i own my power. Really messes with people
We always know, even if we aren’t sure of what exactly it is yet. It’s a sense a feeling that unexplainable. I’ve been this way since I can’t remember when. You wrote this perfectly.
