DIY Charm Pot Jar: The Whispering Vessel
By Dark Witchery
Purpose:
To enchant your space, sway energies in your favor, and amplify your persuasive presence. Can be hidden, placed on an altar, or carried to maintain your dark magnetic pull.
You Will Need:
• 1 small black jar or lidded container (glass or ceramic preferred)
• Black ribbon or thread (to bind intent)
• Dried basil (for influence)
• Ground cloves (for control)
• Rose petals (for allure, but dead/dried only)
• Licorice root (to twist outcomes your way)
• A small black mirror shard or reflective stone
• Your own breath (yes, hunny, blow your intention right in)
• A pinch of graveyard dirt or black salt
• One of your own hairs (power anchor)
• One black chime candle
• Optional: a written charm or chant on black paper tied with thread
Steps:
• Prep Your Space:
No circles. No salt barriers. Just shadows and silence. Light the black candle and let the wax drip onto your workspace.
• Build the Jar:
Layer your herbs in this order: basil, cloves, petals, licorice. Whisper into each layer what you want it to do—don’t be shy, this is for you.
• Add the Power Triggers:
Drop in your hair, the mirror shard, and that pinch of graveyard dirt. These are the ties that bind it to you and the unseen.
• The Breath of Command:
Before sealing, lean in and blow gently into the jar while speaking a phrase like:
“Bound in charm, veiled in might, bend the will and guide the night.”
• Seal and Bind:
Close the lid. Drip black wax around the rim, wrapping the ribbon/thread tightly around the jar while repeating:
“No light shall touch what shadows hold.”
• Place with Purpose:
Hide it under your bed, place it near your mirror, or carry it in your bag. Wherever charm is needed, the jar listens.
Witch Tip:
Recharge this jar under the waning moon if your influence starts to fade. Speak to it like an old friend. Feed it silence and secrets.
