So I woke up this morning — which is rude because I didn’t ask to. My familiar was already judging me from the windowsill like he pays rent, and my coffee was as bitter as my soul. Just how I like it.

Before noon, I managed to:

Curse the neighbor’s Wi-Fi (they had it coming, blasting gospel music at 6 a.m.)

Burn breakfast, which I’m now calling an offering to the kitchen spirits

Scroll through social media and question humanity (again)

Attempt to summon motivation — it ghosted me

Then someone had the audacity to ask:

“So what do witches do all day?”

Oh, you mean besides running a website, casting spells, brewing chaos, and answering questions like:

“Can I hex my ex if they’re already emotionally dead inside?”

“Is it bad to store grave dirt next to my rice?”

“Will this spell backfire if Mercury is retrograding while I’m PMSing and the cat’s acting weird?”

Listen, I’m a dark witch, not your therapist. (Although I do give better advice.)

Afternoon highlights included:

Realizing I left a spell jar in the sun (oops, enjoy your surprise mood swings)

Writing this blog while pretending I don’t need a nap

Answering another message that began with “No offense but Wiccans say—” (Nope. Shut it.)

Contemplating moving to a haunted forest with good Wi-Fi

Tonight? Who knows. Maybe I’ll stare into my cauldron and judge myself for not being more productive. Or I’ll hex a spam caller. Depends on the moon.

If you’re also feeling a little dead inside but still kicking, you’re doing it right.
