The 5 Types of Witches You Should Never Cross

"Oh, all witches are love and light — you have nothing to fear!"

Foolish words, spoken by foolish people.

Any seasoned witch knows that beneath the lace and herbs lies power — and in some witches, that power bites.

There are certain witches you should never cross — not because they will scream and flail, but because they will smile, nod… and then make your life an endless maze of shadows.

Here they are, my loves — The 5 Types of Witches You Should Never Cross:

1. The Silent Witch

She doesn’t boast. She doesn’t post daily spell selfies.

But her walls drip with wards and her words are razor-sharp when spoken.

If you cross her, she won’t waste breath arguing. She’ll simply… move energy. And you won’t see the hand behind the darkness that follows.

2. The Gravewalker

She knows the names of the dead. And they know hers.

Cross her, and you may find old debts called due in the strangest of ways — sudden bad luck, unending obstacles, a sense that someone… or something… is watching.

Gravewalkers are not to be trifled with. Ever.

3. The Laughing Crone

You know the type — the older witch with the wicked grin and bottomless knowledge of herbs and curses.

Cross her and you’ll swear your house is haunted, your tech is cursed, and your friends drift away like smoke.

She won’t even hide it. She’ll smile sweetly and say: “You really should ground yourself better, dear.”

4. The Shadow Weaver

A master of subtle arts — glamour, misdirection, energy weaving.

Cross her, and you’ll find yourself forgotten, overlooked, bypassed.

Your opportunities? Dried up.

Your charms? Faded.

Your sense of personal power? Sapped.

Shadow Weavers are terrifying because their curses often feel like life itself turning cold — no hex bags required.

5. The Dark Alchemist

She knows what herbs to mix, what oils to anoint, what metals to bury beneath your home.

She understands the deep currents of energy — the ones that flow beneath the surface of the world.

Cross her, and physical symptoms will follow — exhaustion, fog, chronic blocks.

And unless you humble yourself and make amends, those blocks will stay.

Final Word

Not all witches wear glitter and smile sweetly at circles.

Not all witches will warn you when you've crossed a line.

Some will simply act — with skill, with subtlety, with devastating effect.

So choose your words wisely. Choose your enemies even more so.

And if you meet a witch of shadows and depth — respect her. You may not get a second chance.

Absolutely so fabulous!I'm coming into my own and can relate to silent witch. I'm just so done with so much at this point that it is with a certain amount of glee and a bit of a wicked grin that I am coming back to what was hiding within me for far too long!

More and more people are taking up witchcraft - you can see it more at the Renaissance Fairs, some who wear pentagrams, or other open clues - but it's the ones who don't wear clues whom you need to be careful of. It's all about the energy -
